House/Dog Sitting

Bry and I had the opportunity this last week to house- and dog-sit for a co-worker of his down in Spanish Fork canyon. It was beautiful.

You can't see any houses, but they're back there.

Yes, there are houses up this road.

The dogs were most probably my favorite part about being at the house. They were so cute and so sweet. I will miss them, and being greeted like this whenever I got home:

Joke from a professor

In my religion class today, my professor shared a joke that's sort of dorky but I thought I'd pass it along because it makes me laugh.

That is the number of minutes I have spent in classes today between the times of 8:00am and 5:15pm.

Know what that says to a girl getting over the flu? WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!!! YOUR DAY WILL NEVER END!!!

Before you feel too sorry for me, know that I will be dropping 1 or 2 of the 5 (75-minute) classes I attended today. So Mondays and Wednesdays will not be that full for me this semester.

BYU football in San Francisco

It was fun to watch BYU football in person AND in 60 degree weather. =)

20 classes

Bry and I just counted and realized that by the time we graduate, we will have taken 20 classes together. How crazy is that?

Also. It's awesome because I love the number 20 AND it's the day of the month that both of us were born on. Amazing.

Bry laughs (as probably most everyone else does) when I find such patterns/connections, but to that I say it's the simple things in life that help you to love it.

Oh Aiden

We read the story of Jesus' birth and were talking about it with Aiden. We explained that we have a star on the top of our Christmas tree because there was a bright star in the sky when Christ was born. Aiden then said "and Jesus plugged it in" as he plugged in the Christmas lights on the tree.

When asked what he would do if he didn't have any cars, Aiden seriously said "cry...like a baby." When asked shortly after that what makes him happy he said "animals."

A little bit later a song by Adele came on at YogurtLand where we were eating frozen yogurt, and Aiden repeated the chorus multiple times saying "rumor has it".

We ate at an asian buffet tonight that had a coy pond. I was carrying Aiden and we were looking at the fish on our way out and I told him to say bye to the fish because we were going home and he said "bye fish" and then proceeded to tell me that they would "wait for us until we come again."

He is a CUTE little boy. Sometimes sort of crazy and difficult, but lots of fun with much to say.
