South Lake Tahoe

Bry and I met up with my family for Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed a great trip which we mostly spent  visiting. We also did some hiking though - me, Bry, my dad and Isaac. Here are some pictures from our adventures through  Vikingsholm and  Eagle Falls.

Ground squirrel! (unless I'm mistaken)

Vikingsholm.

Lower Eagle Falls.

Upper Eagle Falls.

Arches National Park

First off. We decided to stay in a cabin since it was cheaper than a hotel but more comfortable than sleeping bags and a tent (which we don't own anyway).

It was tiny. But functional.

Tuesday, May 20, we went up and walked around some of the arches, more specifically Turret Arch and the Windows.

We also went to see the Double Arch. And look what I found on the way! (It's like a "Y".)

Wednesday, May 21, we hiked up to the Delicate Arch which was pretty tough. It wasn't as scary a hike as it sounded. It was hard though - I had to take a few breaks to breath. It was lovely, though. =)

Beautiful

We stopped by this small site to see some hieroglyphics after hiking to Delicate Arch.

We drove around the north part of the park and then headed back to Provo. Below are some pictures from the northern area of the park.

Here are just some other random photos from our time in Arches:
